Yeah, I never cared for Modest Mouse. I mean, I don't think their music is necessarily bad, but it's not the kind of thing I would want to listen to for a certain amount of time. Being a huge Smiths fan, I would normally buy this album for Marr, but since he was the one who broke up The Smiths in the first place I don't really feel that I owe him anything. Besides, a better guitar player doesn't necessarily mean the quality of their music is going to be much better.

this is a pretty decent album, but if you were expecting a cross between Modest Mouse and The Smiths, prepare yourself for disappointment.
