New Type O Negative Album on March 13th

Any type O fan schmoes? I picked up their dvd symphony for the devil and its by far one of the greatest and funniest music dvds out there.

Type O RULES!!! My fave cds of theirs are October Rust, Bloody Kisses, and their last one (it's name eludes me at this point).

After Dark was a kick ass home video, I really gotta pick up Symphony.

Type O Negative is a band I've always wanted to get into but have never gotten around to it. I might have to start soon.

Great band that keeps getting better as time goes on (the exact opposite of most bands). I like how they have their dark image but aren`t afraid to have a sense of humor about themselves.

Can`t wait for the new album.

Really? I feel it's almost the opposite.

I loved - LOVED - Bloody Kisses when it came out. That album fucking floored me. I had never heard anything like it. To this day I would still put it in my top ten of all time. It's a freaking amazing album.

Then I picked up their earlier stuff and found it tremendously enjoyable as well. Not as mind blowingly great, but still cool as hell and totally unique. I mean, they've got a thirteen minute song called "I Know You're Fucking Someone Else." That's awesome.

Then October rust came out and I was mixed. There was about five or six songs I really liked, and the rest were just "meh."

Then World Coming Down came out with a total thud. There's not a single song on that CD I enjoy.

Life is Killing Me picked things up a bit. I'd put it along with October Rust as good, but not great.

I'll buy the new album, but I think their glory days are gone.

Yeah I LOVE that song man! I actually played it on the stereo once when I suspected my girlfriend was seeing someone else......and the vibe in the room got real uncomfortable real fast! Heheheh...

Anyways "Bloody Kisses" is great, yes it`s a classic, but I feel they`ve grown leaps and bounds since then. I loved both "World Coming Down" and "Life Is Killing Me".
I agree "October Rust" was rather medicore.

I've not been this happy with an album in a long time...from start to finish, it's great. Buy this shit NOW!!
