Need Help

I'm looking at picking up a few Horror movies. I just want some help with if they are good or not. I'm pretty much into watching any type of horror movie. I'm just looking for some reviews or something about these movies. Some pointers. If you can point me out to some other good ones, that'd be great!

Pet Sematary - 9/10
Near Dark - 10/10
Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist - 8/10
Black Christmas: Special Edition (as long as its the original) - 10/10
Feast - 9/10

decent ones:
Pumpkinhead 3 - 7/10
Rest Stop - 7/10

and Near Dark are all great.

Pumpkinhead 2 I loved as a kid, but after it hit DVD and I got to watch it again it didn't really live up to what I remembered.....still a fun movie though if you can get it cheap....just don't expect a classic. Also Pumpkinhead 3 was on sci-fi a while back and was horrible.....I dunno if it was badly chopped up for the TV, or if it was made that way.

Reststop was ok....again nothing amazing but not bad if you can find it for a decent price.

Candyman 3 isn't worth the case they put it in.

The others I've never seen.

BLACK CHRISTMAS is one of the best horror movies ever made! PET SEMATARY and CANDYMAN are minor modern classics. NEAR DARK is a cool cult movie and PUMPKINHEAD is worth watching.

I wouldn't bother with any of the others for now. :cool:

Those are the ones I picked up from Columbia House. $27.53 for all seven of them.

I don't think you can go wrong with the ORIGINAL BLACK CHRISTMAS. Pet Semetary and Feast are also pretty damn good. I found Rest Stop to be pretty unimpressive. Didn't really do anything for me.
Some other favorites of mine that I would suggest would be The Thing, Sleepaway Camp trilogy, Night of the Demons, Night of the Creeps, and the first two EVIL DEAD films.

Feast - 8/10 (Must see,one of the best horror films in years)

Near Dark - 7.5/10 (One of the top vampire flicks out there,right up there with Lost Boys & Fright Night)

Candyman- 6/10 (a solid flick i'd recommend atleast seeing once,if anything definetly rent it if unsure of blind buying)

Pet Cemetary - 6/10 (awesome flick,just don't buy the sequel)

Pumpkinheads 1-3 (all are mediocre at best,3 I only saw clips of and it looked bad.The only great thing is the look of the creature)

Dominion - Only get if you really are into the Exorcist films.
