Third Eye Blind. Especially after they released "Never Let You Go," they lost just about any serious cred they could have mustered amongst critics and the general music-listening public. I fucking love that band, though.

I've allways loved him, I love alot of people who would fall under the whole guilty pleasure banner, but I'm in no way guilty of listening to them, I'm proud to love him, I love barry manalow, niel seddaka, barbra strisand, the bee gees, randy newman, abba, I think Hall and Oats are genius, I love springsteen, whitney ok I'll stop now, sorry.

Actually, no. They're a LOT funnier. Try this one, it's their attempt at some kind of Blade/ Underworld spoof:

umm the song was not offensive, not very stand outish on first hearing, the buffy vs gangs of new york video cost more than it should have really, but it's less offensive than justin timerlakes new one, actually i loved the video for this song but have no recolection of what fall out boys music soundlike, but i thought the black haired guy would sing not the guy who looks like a cartoon irishman

I third Keane.
Ben Folds?
Will Young...yeah, but I aint ashamed of that, no way Jose.
Neil Diamond is awesome...don't be ashamed Calf. If you should be ashamed of anything a little bird tells me you had quite a collection of UB40 lp's when you were a youngling.

Sting- I get a lot of shit for this from my friends. I don't really care for his new stuff, but a lot of his songs are really fucking good. "Fields of Gold," "Inside," "Shape of My Heart," and "Englishman in New York" are all great songs and I would be lying to myself if I didn't listen to him. I absolutely hate that he's gone all yoga-freak on everyone, but some things you have to look past, no matter how obnoxious.

I definitely agree but my personal faves are Fortress Around Your Heart and Brand New Day. The latter is one of the best songs ever written IMO. As for my guilty pleasures:
Duran Duran
Billy Joel
Def Leppard
Fleetwood Mac
Eagles
Live
Depeche Mode
No Doubt - Gwen's solo stuff sucks ass, though.
Van Halen
Dave Matthews Band
Boston

I actually like me a bit of David Gray. He's ideal for those moments in the office on a Sunday where I have to scratch around to find something that everyone will like. Yeah he's middle of the road but that's not always an insult.
I also like Badly Drawn Boy (although i've not heard his most recent album and have only heard bad things about it). But i've been into him pretty much from the first few eps that he stuck out.

I loved the about a boy soundtrack and some of his early stuff, but badly drawn boy went really shit really quick, as for david grey I'd rather have human waste poured in my ears.
