Anybody else here watch this old horror movie by Umberto Lenzi named Ghosthouse? It is about the ghost of a little girl and her clown doll that plays this fuckin' wierd music and anybody who crosses her path dies in a gruesome way. The film on a whole is pretty cheesy and has things that show up and leave the story right away(like a ghost doberman that didn't have much purpose at all), but I couldn't help but enjoy it. It had creepy scenes and an eerie location, plus that music(while repetitive by the end of the flick)that the clown doll plays is pretty eerie. The acting is absolutely horrible and some of the dialogue is pretty "What the hell?" but all in all, it is a pretty good, reasonably gory ghost/slasher movie(more slasher)

It's funny how Umberto Lenzi tried to pass this off as an American film though, he actually credited himself as Humphrey Humbert in this movie, haha. Not to mention the estate in this flick is from House By The Cemetery.

I have the DVD, it's not brilliant but in the words of our very own Arrow, "it's an ok way to kill ninety minutes";)

The music in this film reminds me of Scooby Doo at times. Cheesy mystery shit, haha.

It's an 80's video classic! This movie scared me big time when I saw it (the UK video artwork is really creepy). I can remember watching it when I was about 13 (13 years ago now) and it's such a vivid memory I can tell you that I was eating a rolo yoghurt at the time! The nursery ryhme scared me so much I was pleased when I heard the door slam and realised my mum and dad had come back home! I felt safe once again! Got the VIPCO dvd (couldn't believe it would ever get a release!) and it's UNCUT! LOVE IT! :D
