This just surfaced on the net, it's a screaming match between Lily Tomlin and director David Russell on the set of I Heart Huckabees. Well, it's actually Russell doing most of the screaming.

If i were a studio executive/producer, i would never work with Russell after seeing this. Even if Huckabees were a great movie this wouldnt be acceptable.

Yeah, obviously studios put A LOT of faith in his creative vision. George Clooney apparently said he would never work with Russell again after Three Kings. If this kind of thing happens with any kind of regularity I can see why.

Me too. Three Kings and I Heart Huckabees were both great movies.

Based on stories I've heard, this is certainly not the only outburst Russell had on the set. I get the feeling Tomlin was just standing up to him because others didn't want to, and she took the brunt of his wrath.

While Russell is obviously a smart guy he seems to be a total control freak.
