Best Jump Scenes

Are their scenes that make you jump and then stick to your mind months later? i love these kinds of scenes
here are some of mine:

1. Guy behind Winkie's Scene-Mulholland Drive
2. Demond flash scene- The Exorcist
3. Opening Sequence- Stephen King's IT (Pennywise's face...*Shutter*)
4. body in a back scene-Audition
5. first guy to enter the house- Texas Chainsaw Massacre...damn

Possible Spoilers--

1. Deep Blue Sea- It involves Samuel L. Jackson and a swimming pool
2. TCM (original)- Leatherface's infamous first appearance
3. Signs- The alien on the roof (also the reflection in the TV, hand in the basement)
4. The Sixth Sense- Mischa Barton's hand grabbing Osment from under bed
5. LOTR- Frodo getting stabbed by Shelob (the three times I saw this in the theaters, the entire audience jumped/gasped at once)
6. The Descent- the first time you see those creatures (via the video camera)

The Lord of the Rings-FOTR- Billbo's grab for the ring...props to Peter Jackson for that, that was the first scene i jumped at in a long while)

Deep Blue Sea- Very inspiring speech mr. Samuel L. Jackson

Final Destination- "You can just drop fucking dead"

Texas Chainsaw Masscre (70s version)- Leatherface's first appearance

Definitely agree on The Descent one too bad it was constantly ruined in the trailer.


Oh and that scene in Mulholland Drive freaked me out when I first saw out. I don't even know what's so scary about it. It's just a dishelved hobo stepping out from behind a dumpster but Jesus it gets me.

I still say that Exorcist 3 jump scare is the best jump scare period.
