I think Solaris was one of the most beautiful, well done films ever made. Syriana is beautiful and well done also. Out of Sight is so much damn fun that it's worthy of the 9/10 but not as good. I vote for Solaris though just since Syriana will probably get more votes.

Yeah, you got me. I'm completely unsure of own opinion of the first film. I mean, it's not like it isn't some ego-stroking not-as-cool-as-it-thinks-it=is heist film with an overabundance of actors who don't strike any impact. Give me the stodgy original any freakin' day of the week.

I'm surprised by the strong showing of Solaris here. I expected Out of Sight and Ocean's 11 to clean up, I didn't know that many people even saw, much less loved, Soderbergh's Solaris.

Oowned this movie for about a year(got it as a gift) without watching, thinking it would be ho-hum.

Man, was i wrong. 9/10.

Easily, the best sci-fi film of that year for me.
