The Hills Have Eyes Part 2

I just watched last night the old original Hills and I didnt like it at all. I seriously liked the remake waaaaaaay better. But how about the second part to the original. Is it worth watching? How did the one cannibal that got attacked by the dog survive? Nothing to do with the new Hills have eyes 2???spoil me. I probably wont ever watch it

I liked the original HHE alot. The remake was avg. The sequel to the old HHE 2 is really bad. Its 40 min. of the original Hills and 40 min of new stuff. People going to a dirt bike race cut through the desert where the original took place. The boy that survived the original warns them not to go. But they go anyway. One of the people in the bus is Ruby from hill family. Shes all normal now. The best part of the movie is when the dog sees Pluto and has a falshback of the dog attack. When dogs have flashbacks you know you are in trouble. I think Pluto has a scar on his neck from the attack. So its Pluto and his Uncle Saturn doing the same old same old. I think the surviving girl is blind as well. I could have forgot some stuff, its been ahwile since I've seen it. Another Wes Craven crapfest.

Not a great sequel but a fun one (in a bad/cheesy slasher sort of way) nonetheless. The dog's flashback always kills me!

I'd re-watch it because I saw it once when I was like 8...I remember the quality of the camera and such was SO dark I could hardly see what was going on...is the DVD as poor?

I own the UK DVD which is 16x9 and looks pretty good. No idea about the US disc though.

The new sequel is just atrocious. One of the worst I have seen in a while. I have never seen the original sequel but I can't imagine it being worse than this garbage. I really should check it out sometime though. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Both originals are nothing compared to the sequel...you'll enjoy the new sequel better then both originals combined if you're anything like me in tastes. I can't stand the original HHE.
