CALIFORNIA (BBC Entertainment - 01 Apr 2007) Kiefer Sutherland confirmed reports today that he will be leaving the hit FOX TV show, '24'.
Amidst rumours of on-set feuds with directors and co-actors, the actor today walked out.
"Don't worry, " says FOX commisioner of drama April Sloof, "we will continue to air 24 as planned for the remainder of the season".
When asked about the future of the show, April replied: "I wouldn't get my hopes up [...] the shows ratings have dropped significantly over the past few months, and without [Kiefer] I can't see an improvement."
"[He] just got too violent, " co-star Mary-Lynn Rajskub claims. "Maybe he spent too much time playing [Jack] Bauer?"
Claims have already been made that Hollywood actor Ben Stiller will replace Kiefer in the next season of '24', and possibly the upcoming '24' feature length movie. Whether he will fill the role of the shows front-man, Jack Bauer is unknown.
SHIVER ME TIMBERS...
I'M GONNA NEED A MINUTE TO MYSELF, GUYS. *Cocks gun*
