I don't really like Avril, but I gotta agree with her on this one...


Britney's problems are her own fault, says Avril

Avril Lavigne says that Britney Spears’ woes are Britney Spears’ fault: the recently rehabbed singer just isn’t tough enough for show biz.

“What’s happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person,” the Sk8er Grrrl said, reports the London Sun. “If you want a piece of this business, you have to be able to deal with it. You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness, because that’s the job.”

The 22-year-old admits that she likes the booze, but seems to disapprove of Spears’ widely reported visit to rehab, because, Lavigne says, she can handle her liquor and “no one really gets to know” about her drinking exploits.

Regardless of the quality of her music, I do think that Avril cares about what she does, she cares for her music and for her fans. Britney obviously doesn't give a fuck. So Avril wins.

Britney has gotten uglier every year, while Avril gets hotter every year. So Avril wins.
