I'm going with Sydney Tamiia Poitier's Jungle Julia for some odd reason! Although she was bitchy, she was incredibly sexy, and has the acting chops and potential to be more than just Sidney's daughter.
SPOILER ALERT!

I originally thought (and was hoping) that she'd be one of the story's heroines! Nice to know that a director can still pull the rug out from under me. Although Rose McGowan's Pam character was technically the Janet Leigh/Drew Barrymore role, I thought there was more to Sydney's sassy deejay character than met the eye. Wish her character (as well as Vanessa Ferlito's Butterfly, the best friend) would have duked it out with Stuntman Mike in the end!!!

Other: Zoe Bell as herself (Death Proof)
She's a friggin' stuntwoman, for chrissakes, but she had a lot of screen charisma and managed to hold her own with the QT dialogue...she never tripped over her lines or appeared self conscious. Plus, hanging off the hood of the car for that last act...she done good.

I didn't know if Fu Manchu counted, so I went with Russell.

Two stuck out for me.
Rose McGowan (not just for her wonderful ass. I was generally surprised with her. Great stuff.) and Michael Biehn (Every moment he opened his mouth was comedic genius) in Planet Terror.
Zoe Bell was real good too.

That was the funniest part of the movie. Well, that and the "Thanksgiving" trailer right after it.
But yes, Kurt Russell was easily my favorite. In fact, I don't think it would be out of line to say that this represents a terrific return to form for him via a devilishy charming villain character ala David Carradine in Kill Bill Vol. 2.

SPOILERS
What? I wouldn't really compare the two. Bill was a badass down to the last second and for the second half of Death Proof Kurt Russell was whining about his shot arm. and saying things like "Be careful! It's broken!"

Kurt Russell. The best character in the movie. That aside, his John Wayne impression is spot-on and it's priceless when he looks at the camera and smiles a la Smokey and the Bandit.

I went with Rose McGowan, she was hot as hell and made a crazy/ridiculous role like Cherry Darling's as believable as it possibly could be!
I also enjoyed Zoe Bell, she did a helluva job for being a stuntwoman! :p

Very tough between Kurt Russell, Jeff Fahey, Rose McGowan, and Freddy Rodriquez.
I'll go with Kurt, but Fahey has this awesome charisma.
Nicholas Cage got the biggest laugh out of me though.

I really loved Kurt Russel, Josh Brolin, and Michael Biehn. Rose McGowan did surprisingly well and Zoe Bell was good. But I went with Michael because I've always felt he was underrated as an actor.

You've GOT to be kidding me...i'm the first/only one to pick Jeff Fahey as JT in Planet Terror?
Blasphemy like the movies own Box Office results.
