For any other Lynch fans like myself, can you rate your top 10 David Lynch directed scenes ever? I'm talking TV and Film - so Twin Peaks counts! Here is mine.
10. Blue Velvet - Candy Coloured Clown

It's quite comical and yet there's something very disturbing about it! I love the music, as usual it's dream related. One of the darkest scenes in Blue Velvet in my opinion.
9. Lost Highway - The Phone Call

This guy gave me the serious creeps. His voice, his face, everything. That scene when he tells Fred that he's in his house and he's on the other end of the phone...it haunted me for days! One of the creepiest scenes in the creepiest Lynch film!
8. Eraserhead - Lady Behind The Radiator

"In heaven, everything is fine!!"
During this slow, nightmarish, horrible film which is, to be honest, quite painful to watch, this crazy scene is somewhat a breath of fresh air. The constant mechanical ambient background noises is interrupted for a couple of minutes by a beautiful tranquil song as a woman with large cheeks side steps around a stage, squashing giant sperms! Hilarious and beautifully done!
7. Blue Velvet - Geoffrey in the Closet

There's not much to say about this iconic scene, other than it's one of the darkest and most disturbing scenes in any film, ever. Brilliantly acted by Dennis Hopper and Isabella Rosselini. Like Geoffrey, I didn't want to watch yet I couldn't tear my eyes away.
6. Twin Peaks - The kiler is revealed
http://images.quizilla.com/M/mattababy/1075690038_turesgiant.jpg
This historic in Twin Peaks where we FINALLY found out who killed Laura Palmer is one of the most bizarre, gripping scenes in all of Television. From the moment where the Giant appears stating "it's happening again" to the next shot of Leland Palmer looking in the mirror and Bob staring right back at him, grinning psychotically, and through to the disturbing brutal death of Maddy Palmer, it left me with my mouth dropped open!
5. Blue Velvet - Opening Sequence

Thie is my favourite part of Blue Velvet, it's very simple, but sums up completely what this whole movie is about. Cheerful music and pretty images of happy suburbia, but then seeing that underneath the surface of this freshly cut grass is conflict, death and darkness...
4. Twin Peaks - Tibetten Rock Throwing method

Agent Cooper - BEST TV CHARACTER EVER, and this is one of his greatest scenes. After giving his colleagues a short historical background on his favourite country, Tibet, he introduces one of the tibetten methods in order to catch Laura Palmer's killer. He simply says the name of each suspect and throws a rock at a glass. If the rock smashes the glass...then he's onto something!! Brilliantly funny!
3. Mulholland Drive - Wendys
http://www.seeing-stars.com/Images/ScenesFromMovies/MulhollandDrive3.jpg
Mulholland Drive had SO many memorable scenes it was hard to narrow them down. But this was definitely one of the most memorable for me. A complete random scene, a set of characters we've never seen before. A man discussing a horrible dream he had with a friend, and then that dream coming to life. It's one of the scariest moments in the film, and it's brilliantly done.
2. Twin Peaks - Cooper's Dream

This is the scene where you find out that Twin Peaks is more than just a simple murder mystery story. Two episodes into the series, things take a bizarre turn for the worst when Agent Cooper finds himself an old man sitting in a red room, talking to the deceased Laura Palmer and a strange dancing dwarf, both of whom are talking backwards! (Well, backwards backwards) It's bizarre, funny, scary, it's everything Lynch does brilliantly, rolled into one.
1. Mulholland Drive - Club Silencio

The scene touched me like no other. It's sad, powerful, bizarre, the scene sums up everything Lynch's work is about - the power of illusion. The chemistry between Naomi Watts and Laura Hanning is heart filling, as is the music, and the performance by Rebekah Del Rio as the singer (or mimer) is fantastic. I could watch this scene over and over again! Best Lynch scene EVER!
