Mine would have to be : "Lady In The Lake" , a noir flick. Second would have to be: "The Love God" a Don Knots flick from the late 60's.

I'm not sure what the term "classic movie" is supposed to mean anymore. Is it just any movie that has achieved the status of a classic among critics and/or the general public, or does it refer to the specific period that was termed the "Golden Age," meaning roughly the mid-60's and earlier? I'm just going to assume the latter, and give you this list:
1. Dr. Strangelove (arguably one of the first "contemporary" movies though)
2. Sunset Blvd.
3. The Third Man
4. Seven Samurai
5. Some Like it Hot
