Only half of the list is up, but expect the top 50 to be coming shortly.

I've hated Premiere's lists so often that I at first didn't even want to look at this one, but I did anyway, and you know what? That's a pretty damn good list so far. Better, anyway, than the AFI's incredibly predictable list, which had what, 9 lines from Casablanca?
About this list, I think people get way too excited over that stupid Snakes on a Plane line, and I have no idea why they included the line from Last Tango in Paris (you'd have to be pretty damn weird to quote that one), but the rest of them are all good. They even put a quote from Blue Velvet on there, though it wasn't my personal choice of "I'll fuck anything that moves!" I guess that could still make the list though. Let me know when they post the top 50. I'm curious now.

Y'know, they have the "war room" line from DR. STRANGELOVE on there twice...

I noticed that; it's both #59 and #35. Still a great line though.
Not a bad list, but the Sam Jackson line from Snakes on a Plane has no business being on that list. And "I'm the kind of the world!" was ruined by James Cameron at the Oscars, so that shouldn't be on there either (in my opinion).
At least the Dirty Dancing line about Baby being in the corner wasn't on there.

Eh, the top 50 wasn't as interesting as #51-100. A lot of predictable ones, and then the ones that weren't predictable weren't so much pleasant surprises as they were "What the hell?" kind of things (like the line from The Incredibles at #15). And why, of all the times "May the force be with you" is uttered throughout the Star Wars saga, do they go with the one time Harrison Ford says it? When I read that line, it's Alec Guinness's voice I hear, and I think most people would agree.
I was, however, pleased with that line from Love and Death. I love that line!
And yes, that's stupid how they have the same line from Dr. Strangelove on the list twice, but did you also notice that they misquoted the line from White Heat?

I don't remember Alec Guiness actually ever saying that exact line in Star Wars. I think Harrison Ford said it first.
They were obviously saving all the recent crappy ones for the top 50, only a few like the one from Fight Club and possibly Brokeback Mountain will be remembered for more than a decade or so.
And it wasn't a very thoroughly checked list either. Besides what's already been mentioned, anyone else realize that they said, "Go ahead. Make my day." was from Dirty Harry, rather than Sudden Impact.

Worst. List. EVER. I would have like half of the quotes on the bottom 51-100 in my top 50 easily. The quotes from Network, Annie Hall, Sunset Boulevard and all those... WAY too low!
And what the fuck are quotes from Austin Powers movies and The Incredibles doing on the list, and so high nonetheless?
And where are quotes like "Attica! Attica!" or "I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave", or "Leave the gun, take the cannoli", or so many others they seem to have forgotten? Seriously, I terrible list.

"Get in my belly." Really?? One of the greatest movie lines of all time?
"There's something you don't see every day." Really??
Overall a decent list but there are several that just left me scratching my head. You can always quibble about rankings but "You can't handle the truth!" beneath TWO Austin Powers quotes...hmmmm.

"GET IN MY BELLY"
ahead of May the force be with you, half of Casablanca's quotes, E.T. Phone Home, all of Strangelove's...
I love Premiere and am subscribing till the end but there really isn't much wonder why the magazine is going out.

Fuck Casablanca is such an overrated movie. It's a good movie, but damn. Get over it already. There were greater films made before it, during that time, and after. Way greater films, I should say.

making a list like that can't be easy but even they knew that after putting austion powers on that list, might be a mistake, escpecially when one comes after the quote "may the force be with you."
