Craig.

I absolutely loved him in Casino Royale. I thought that he gave a very layered, complex performance. I He was both hilarious, and completely badass. Cold yet warm. Brutal yet sophisticated. Vulnerable, yet extremely strong and determined. And a totally relentless bastard, he just never gave up.

Wonderful character. Also the closest to Fleming's original character.

Well, Connery is the original Bond so you can't really argue against that.

Its interesting how so many people rail against Lazenby despite the high praise OHMSS gets. I mean its considered one of the best of the series and one of the most faithfully adapted movies from the Feliming novels yet people cant stand Lazenby.

I must admit that OHMSS and Lazenby are near the top of my favorite Bond movies and actors to date. I would also argue tooth and nail that he is much better then Dalton and hair better then Moore.

It's between Sean Connery and Daniel Craig for me, but I prefer the latter's flinty steel performance.

Prior to watching Casino Royale for the first time, Pierce Brosnan was my favorite James Bond. But now Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond. He was everything that Bond should be, and the first actor to truly humanize the character. It was an outstanding performance, and I hope he plays Bond for years to come.

Has to be Brosnan for me. The dude oozed charm and had the grit of a spy. Craig is alright, but his persona on screen doesn't scream "Bond"...I think he needs to work out the kinks of his character.
