Then the galactus news ruined it for me.

But this new trailer is fucking nice.

Too bad jessica alba should not NOT NOT NOT be a blonde with blue eyes. Bring back the Dark Angel alba.

Couldn't be more in league with ya in your enthusiasm for the new Fantastic Four 2 film.! I have a hunch that we just might see by the films end or certainly FF 3- 2 things----Ben Grimm's ability to change.back to human form and visa-versa...like in the comics from time to time...and...I hope ..maybe even sense a change in the Thing's facial features to look a bit more like the 1970's version....Thing actually now in the 2 FF films has the old Jack Kirby style 1960's look...for the most part...BUT I think a more definitive look for Thing's face is on the way next installment...I hope...even though i like the 1960's facial version we have at present for the most part.

i loved the trailer....it sure pump up my anticipation of this movie...althought when i heard the silver surfer speak i (even thought i knew it was laurence fishburn) it still didnt sound like him.....im wondering if they gonna show galactus towards the end...like the climax of the year...setting it up for FF3 :cool:

That's what I'm betting. Galactus' appearance will be brief setting up the third film. He certainly won't be a cloud. That rumor has been officially shot down.

Wentworth Miller?.....i know ive heard that name before but i think what would have been cooler if Doug Jones himself would have provided the voice; even thought i dont mind Laurence Fishburn voicing the silver surfer....and yes now i know who Wentworth Miller is...the Prison Break guy...(its interesting to note that he was in Dinotopia)...i didnt realize it was him when i saw the miniseries on sci-fi a while back..but anyways....i still cant wait for FF 2..that trailer so kick ass when i saw it with the spider-man 3 preview..

I had a good time with the first FF. This sequel looks to have amped up the action with the Surfer looking all bad-ass and smacking missiles like bitches.

I'm excited to see this. BOOM!

Oh, and I thought it sounded like Fishburne, but good call on Wentworth Miller, they kind of sound similar.

I had zero interest in the first one , until i was finally forced to watch it , and i enjoyed it despite my initial reservations , and all i have to say after seeing the trailer in the theater is , this look terrific . There's more action in this and the visuals look way better , this could , should make more money than the first , because it does look pretty damn wild .

I have no doubts that Mr. Fishburne will do a good job, but I think the surfer needs the kind of mysterious quality to him ala Miller. But anyhoo, I'll reserve my judgment on the voice acting until the movie's out.

watching smallville tonight(may 17) during the comercial breaks there was q&a with jessica alba and chris evans and they also showed a few clips i have not seen before most noticably a clip of Sue with torch powers on fire flying in the air talking to reed richards while he is in a building

yeah that was a pretty kool clip especially when sue retorts to read when he look at her flying in the window with johnny power...i think they inserted some humor from the comics..which is a good thing

i dont think Galactus will be a cloud but more likely that will be his dramatic entrance leading to a possilbe FF3 movie..all depending on the b.o. opening weekend

lol ...it was made but unfortunately it was never release and it ended up making the round as a bootleg movie on the comic book convention circuit.or somthing or other and it was directed by roger cormac (if memory serves me correctly) and this one remains more faithful to the comic book root then the crap that tim story directed and those writers wrote..then again u cant really blame tim story...i

if anyone at fault its the damn studio and stupid writers that went ahead and change some minor details....i personally couldn't stand the first FF..thankfully they wrote a much better story this time around and althought im not trying to go by judging the trailer..im keeping my fingers cross that at least its going to be good and IF i were to go by the trailer it looks kick ass fraking awesome ;) :D

You know the concept for this movie is so inherently cool that I was originally holding out hope for it (the badass first trailer got me REALLY hyped), but the promotional material thus far has confirmed my initial suspicions that Tim Story can make ANYTHING suck.

20 Sky Divers + 1 Silver Surfer = A 'Fantastic 4' Aerial event at the "600"

That was quite cool! I bet it was even better live at the track. The Silver Surfer diver landed on a huge "4" logo painted on the infield after flying through a human 4 chain in the sky. The Fox reporter interviewed Alba and Chiklis. He introduced the four leads as "Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis and his two friends." Chiklis gave a strange look and then started to laugh. Alba corrected the problem and made sure to include Ioan and Evans. They talked about the Surfer as a character, showed a cool Nascar painted for the movie and flattered Alba, talking about her #2 finish in Maxim's sexiest people. Great promo and exposure!

One Fox interlude mentioned an EXCLUSIVE FF2 TRAILER Wednesday on Fox.
