New Go Team Single

I've been listening to the new Go Team Single Grip like a vice and it's a fun booty shaking time in the same spirit as their previous effort. There is something really special about this band and I'm glad they are still in full bloom.

I think they are one of the most original bands out there and live they are unlike anything else I've ever seen. It was like I was stuck in some time vortex between the 60's-70's-80's- and 90's all at once.

Their last album was a great listen. Fun, exciting, and playful. I had no knowledge of any new material. As far as being the most original, I wouldn't say that, but will say that I love their influences and the mood they create. Something tells me they would be a good time live. It reminds me of children's music, not as an negative, but just that they have a lot of energy and are totally non-offensive; the schoolyard chants don't hurt anything.

I'm on the lookout.

The new album is getting released here and overseas the same time sometime this summer.
