1981's Clash Of The Titans was a neat film for me way back when...I saw its going to be redone?! any info? what a cool period piece and storyline it was. An yes I did enjoy the claymation/animation work of the legendary Ray Harryhousen on the original film. -Hope the write up was true! Anyone like this film?

I am a huge RH fan, have been all my life just about. And as such, I am trying not to think too much about the remake. Ray must've sold bigtime for the rights for the remake? It originally was his, Beverly Cross, and Charles H Schneer's baby. It took ages to get the script right. So I read, anyways. The sequel 'Force of the Trojans" was trashed and thrown about for many many years after Clash. It never got the green light. A pity, it would have been good. A direct sequel. But that was long ago. I am purposely not keeping track of this new film. But secretly I have hopes that it will at least do Ray's very last Dynamation story of classic Greek Mythology, justice?

It's just a matter of time before Jason & The Argonauts gets the trashy remake treatment. The 1963 version for those not familar with Ray's work. Not the crappy remake that was made for TV. Ray's movies are best left alone. Sorry, I am ranting here. Anywho, let's hope Clash of the Titans [2008] version does well. Also, seeing as I love Greek Mythology, they should at least be able to do some great effects with the monsters. I just wish they would get the Kraken's size correct this time. No offence Ray, but he was far too small in your movie. He is/was one of the mighty Titans. And as such. He could have held Talos in one hand like a little id girl holding her barby doll.
