[Spoiler Tags] 4 JB'S?

Yes I know this is in the wrong forum. But I wanted to see if anyone else thinks that this is a good idea or not? And general is heavy in Schmoe traffic. What's a spoiler tag? It is another posting option whereby when someone posts potential spoilers, either in text or image form, they are hidden with a tag. To reveal, you simply click the little button in that person's post. I myself have been guilty of posting potential spoilers by accident. Most recently in the Gore thread where I posted many many images. Sorry to those who I offended. My bad.

This forum modification is as simple as pie to install. And I may email JB directly about it. But first I wanted all of your opinions on it. Sure, we can keep typing;

Yeah, most people do. It's what they're used to as well. But this option is cool. It hides everything within the tags until you hit the little button. I frequent alot of other forums, and most of them implement this function with great success. Just a thought on my part. :)

I dig this suggestion as well especially after navigating the spoiler warzone that the Lost thread is becoming :p...somehow the season finale details got leaked (maybe fake maybe not) and everyone's putting up spoiler tags and doing everything properly but I still want to discuss the show and it's hard not to scroll through and accidentally catch your eye on a spoiler :S....

Agree with JC.... Scrolling past spoilers is dangerous, and this is a site full of spoilers.

I've seen in other forums (not that I go to other forums) a helpful [tag] for spoilers that marks them in a way that's impossible to read unless you click on a button that reveals the spoiler. Those seem very useful, wonder if JoBlo can get those.

Well he mentioned updating the boards a couple of weeks back, maybe that is something new that can be done now? I like the idea myself. Then again I still read the spoilers even when I know I shouldnt. Spoilers are like crack to me, I cant resist them!!
