Trouble in Lebanon

Should the US ever help Lebanon against the Islamic extremists? Should anyone? It was called the Lebanese civil war but was it really since Syria has always pulled the strings (and still is)? Maybe countries should start attacking Syria and Iran to keep them busy defending their own turf instead of mucking up all these other countries. Yet, everyone is so careful not to make accusations that carry any weight against these countries and they are the ones who are causing such upheaval.

Our army is a little tied up at the moment. And when i say "at the moment" i mean "for the next ten years".

I would say financially no but logistically yes, but yeah they're definitely big boys who can fight their own war.

I'm not saying huge sums of money, but as we all know Lebanon still hasn't fully recovered from the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Sending some cash their way will make it easier for them to see this action through.
