Black Mountain are excellent. They are playing Glasgow in a couple of months and i'm hoping to see them. Much as I like them though...I think I prefer Pink Mountaintops. Axis Of Evol is a great, great album.

Black Mountain is the tits... although I only own their first album (which is badass); haven’t heard anything else yet, though.

Check out Pink Mountaintops while yer at it. Trust me. I'm a doctor. I prescribe musical medicine that'll cure what ails you.

I don't think i've heard their debut. Hmm. Must rectify that. Thanks for reminding me it exists. So I can't actually give you an educated answer until I do. But irrespective. Axis Of Evol is a fantastic wee album and well worth checking out. Did you not like the first album?

my mistake, i thought you were referring to Black Mountain, which explains why I was a bit confused...;)
I'll have to check out the Pink Mountaintops, especially if they're mentioned in the same breath as Black Mountain.
