To any fellow schmoes who live in the general Kansas City area:
Video Librairy, the mother of all video stores on 87th street has officially closed and is having a huge liquidation of their entire inventory.
Thousands and thousands of movies on DVD and VHS, plus tons of games from PS1 to Xbox 360.
The prices are so-so, depending on what you get. Shelf titles are 9.99, or three for 25. New releases are 12.99. This may not be the best price for older movies, but some of this stuff you can't find anymore and would have to get online and pay shipping anyway. For a lot of the new releases, it's a steal, as some of these movies literally just came out last week.
The video game prices aren't that great. Most are 15, or three for 35. The PS1 games are only 5 I think.
VHS tapes are 10 for 20, or 2.99 each.
There is so much there, it's pretty overwhelming and hard to take in, but I was able to snatch a few good titles I wanted. I'm gonna wait to see if the game prices go down.
