A Chicago DJ leaked Icky Thump last week (I think) and I heard its all over the internet but I cant find it anywhere. I heard a couple of the songs (they rule) but I want to hear the whole album (I am still buying it on its release date).
Anyone know of a link to the leak???

Is the leak CD Quality? Or is it a radio rip?

Kinda finding them a bit boring in the long run. But it is a good record and they are always interesting. Little Cream Soda is a great song.

Really love this album. Although I am a bit biased cause I like anything and everything by Jack White. A couple of the songs I skip over (like track 2 and Conquest).
Here is my rankings of their most major albums:
1. Get Behind Me Satan
2. Elephant
3. Icky Thump
4. White Blood Cells
all fantastic.

The White Stripes are one of my favorite bands, even though Get Behind Me Satan wasn't as good as their older albums.
Icky Thump appears to be The White Stripes going back to their basics. Excited........

probbly the best of jack's covering a woman's song I've heard, though i still prefer the patti page version,
I think that his is there most comercial sounding record to date, and the cover art is horrid.

De Stijl is still my favorite, Apple Blossom, Truth Doesn't Make a Noise and You're Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl) are all amazing and white blood cells is my second fave as We're Going to Be Friends and dead leaves on the dirty ground are both awsome.

I like the album but it hasn't floored me. Which is strange because usually every White Stripes release grabs me by the gonads for awhile.

Other than Icky Thump and the song the Stripes played yesterday at Bonnaroo, I haven't heard anything else from the album, but I really dig those two tracks.

The first track is great, but so far after that it's relatively boring.

"Rag and Bone" is fucking awesome. So is the St. Andrew track. Fucking Scottish psychadelic madness.

A number of my friends are at Bonnarroo and were sending me constant photos of the White Stripes playing (they know how much I like them so they decided to taunt me) those bastards!:( :D

I listen to Q101 in Chicago all the time, and Jack White actually called the show and was pissed off that they leaked the entire CD almost a week before it's release.

I picked this up today, but haven't given it a listen to yet. Also, tickets for their Chicago performance go on sale Saturday, and consider me stoked!!!!!

I just got through my first listen of Icky Thump. It's a great album and a cool throwback to their earlier work. Jack White's guitar work on this album is outstanding, especially on the opening two tracks. My favorite tracks are the following: "Icky Thump," "You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told)," "Little Cream Soda," "Catch Hell Blues," and "Conquest," which, in my opinion, is one of their best songs period (and it's a cover!). Overall, Icky Thump is another top-notch, creative, and hard-rocking album from The White Stripes.
8/10
Note: I'll have to listen to the album a couple more times before I rank their albums.
And I'll be seeing The White Stripes in concert as well - September 19th at the Forum in Los Angeles. I've got great seats too! :D

Icky Thump is one of the damn finest singles to come out in a long while. Seriously, %80 of the crap I hear on the radio lately isn't worth me listening to so it really is a compliment when I say that I find something to be of great value to me. Great work from those two. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
