Herman Dune is a band not a person.

Then let me rephrase that they all are stealing Jonathan Richmans flava.

I saw Herman Dune and Turner Cody a few weeks ago...well, a third of Herman Dune I think, um...he was awesome...and fucking tall. I stood next to him at the bar and I came up to his waist.

He sang an amazing new song about a poor Jewish violin teacher called Samuel...I really need to track it down somehow.

They do sound like Richman...but that's not a bad thing like you say.

I'll look it up since Giant has secured a little niche in my heart as of late. Today driving back from a disaster of a work day the cd made life seem that much brighter.

Noted. Seriously, I've been listening to Giant all week in my car and I still don't have any impulse to switch it up. Concrete mushroom was a decent record but Giant borders on epic in it's greatness.

Got the solo album but the EP has fallen off the face of the earth. I can't even find a download of it.

I've been listening to andres solo work over the last few days and your right, it is alot darker but it keeps me interested at great lengths.
