So far the jury is still out in summer of 2007. It hasn't been great but it's been okay. However, the summer can still improve. Indeed July actually looks like a very promising month and even August looks okay.

So I'll reserve judgement for at least a month for the summer as a whole.

Funniest tidbit of the year? My most anticipated blockbuster of the year (Spider-Man 3) was TOTAL SHIT and the one I thought would be total shit (Transformers) was actually really good.

No this is different. This is recapping the summer. So I think there is justification for keeping this. Now whether this thread should be here or in the best/worst list area could be up for debate. But I like this thread and certainly hope it's kept.
