stand in the fire is a great album, not on any personal top lists from what i've seen though.

I've heard a few albums...and liked them all a lot. During the recording of his last album he was pretty much in the last stages of the cancer that was killing him. I remember reading about how he conducted himself during those sessions and thinking that he was such a brave person. And hearing the album itself was a very emotional experience. I keep meaning to check him out some more. Think I will now.

I used to listen to werewolves of london over and over again when i was like 4 feet tall it was on a halloween music comp with such classic like Nightmare on my street with Dj Jazzy jeff and the Fresh Prince.

That's about all I know.

Anywhere in particular I should start, for anyone familiar with his work?

"Stand in the Fire" is regarded as his best work, I think.....that's the cd with his 2 bigger hits, 'excitable boy' and 'werewolves of london' but his last album he did w/ many guest stars, so that might be cool too, can't think of what the album title is.

Actually Excitable Boy was the album these two songs are from, stand in the fire is a live album.
