What an outstanding album. If you like Lee Hazelwood and The Handsome Family then this really is required listening. I remember giving their debut album a cursory listen then I forgot about it (i'm planning to return to it now). I'm kicking myself because I could have seen these guys live in a small Glasgow venue a couple of weeks back and didn't bother my arse because I was feeling a wee bit tired. I should have given myself a shake and got a ticket. Simply put...this is one of the best albums i've heard this year.
