Mine is Metallica.

What is your favorite band of the following that has a song in the movie?

Im not making you rate the songs themselves but just pick the best band.

I guess The Rolling Stones. They have a lot of great songs in a variety of movies. A close second would be The Doors, but when it comes to something like Forrest Gump, it's like, okay, come on, lay off The Doors...we get it, it's the 60's.

Now, My favorite band, Pink Floyd, isn't eve non the list, despite having a 90 minute music video that was released theatrically. Why no love?

for me it's tough call between Metallica and the Boss. so I went with the Boss because I was fan of his before I was fan of Metallica.

I agree with that Led Zeppelin rules also.

On that account, The Beatles should definitely be in the poll too. But it probably doesn't count. Otherwise, I've never heard of or seen a film that actually has a Pink Floyd song in it, unless you count Roger Waters and Van Morrison's cover of Comfortably Numb in The Departed.

Of the top of my head, The Squid And The Whale, The Italian Job, and Lords Of Dogtown. And Waters wrote Comfortably numb so not sure how it shouldn't be counted just because David Gilmour didn't sing his half...

Bah. Springsteen owns every single one on this list. Period. All by himself. With the E-Street Band, he owns them by an ever greater amount.
