Clerks II - "Terrorists...? Ah, I left the coffee pot on again, didn't I?"
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - The music/drawings were awesome. Very Bond-ish without being a ripoff.
Thank You for Smoking - The whole beginning monologue by Eckhart was so funny!
A Scanner Darkly - Seeing that animation in it's glory for the first time blew my mind!
Sin City - I don't care what anyone says, Hartnett is a great actor...he just needs to keep picking great movies!
Wedding Crasher - The "Shout" montage was brilliant!
Constantine - Who doesn't love a good exorcism the first few minutes into a movie?
Mr. and Mrs. Smith - That dialogue between Pitt and Jolie was so fucking funny!

The opening of Cache was about the only thing I liked about the movie.
agree about Lord of War, Sin City, Casino Royale and Stranger than Fiction. I think Gataca's opening credits are pretty cool. My top favorite is Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

Superman Returns opening credits put chills down my back in the theater with the sound blasting. I knew I was about to witness the greatest comic book character ever made kick some ass. Superman Returns wins this easily.

I couldn't stand Cache's credits, especially at the end. The text was so small and poorly displayed that it almost seemed like a disservice to anyone who worked on the film.
Anyway, Vacancy's opening credits were pretty cool.

Lord Of War has already been mentioned several times, but for good reason.
Marie Antoinette An awesome opening credits....puts you right into the appropriate mood and lets you know that you're not watching a typical bio-pic.
A History of Violence: kind of the exact opposite of Marie Antoinette there...with the slow pace and a shot that feels as if it goes on forever, it's a strange opening sequence that makes you wonder what to expect of the movie. The credits are nothing fancy but it all feels like the calm before the storm.
And yeah, it's hard to argue that Planet Terror 's opening credits aren't nice to watch. ;)

I can't think of new ones to mention, but yeah, LORD OF WAR and CASINO ROYALE opening credits are terrific.
Just remembered Freddy vs Jason. Or was that the end credits? I can't really remember.
