I've been pretty pumped about this ever since I heard about the ecstatic reaction at Cannes (the word seems to be the actor playing Ian Curtis is amazing in the role)...it looks fantastic and I can't wait to see it.

I never really listened to Joy Division. I don't have anything against them or anything like that. I just haven't gotten around to hunting down their material. Still I find it odd that they decided to do this biopic as JD doesn't really seem like such a huge band. Well that's in the states though. They probably have a bigger following over in Europe.
