I know a lot of you are sick of seeing the same old options on here but I do feel some of these options really are scored well enough to be mentioned again. Im sorry if it really does bother you THAT much. You dont have to vote if it does. To everyone else, have fun voting.

In my opinion a great score to a film can take it to the next level.

A lot of the scores on here I find to be amazing. American Beauty's was awesome. Star Wars is great of course as the themes almost make the score but the reason I dont like it enough is simply because I think John Williams can out of no where start using the corniest high pitched notes that ruin the songs for me and even sometimes take me out of the film. (Indy running in the forrest in the beggining of Raiders...how the fuck did Steven Spielberg let that in the movie?!?!! It sounded like it belonged in Aladdin or some cartoon!). Lawrence of Arabia's score was brilliant. Eh im just getting excited thinking about all of them now ill stop.

Oh and for some of you that probably didnt have one of your favorite scorses involved in the poll I apologize. I tried to compile a list that essentially everyone would agree with but we all know that is impossible.

I pick Star Wars. It was close to LOTR but I think Star Wars is more Iconic then the LOTR as of now

Hard decision, you're right - these movies have great scores - I can hear them when I think of them.

After deliberation, it came down to Gladiator or Lord of the Rings. I like how Ridley Scott wants the sound of women's voices in the scores of his movies. But the sheer beauty, power, and the distinctive themes for the different races of Middle Earth persuaded me to chose LORT.

American Beauty is the most enjoyable of those.

Star Wars, followed closely by The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

I voted for Jurassic Park.

I'm surprised you didn't include John Williams work on the first three Harry Potter films.

I'm really the first to pick Nina Rota's score for The Godfather? Wow.

As much as I love WIlliams' Star Wars work, it came down to Gladiator and LOTR. I gave Gladiator some love but it's really a toss-up for me.

American Beauty. Requiem For A Dream should be up there, though.

Star Wars

John Williams is my all time favorite. The man is a musical genius.

LOTR in my opinion and it isnt even close. Shores work is brilliant. Great choices though.

American Beauty, Jurassic Park and some of the others are also awesome.

Star Wars has AWESOME themes (Imperial March is basically an American anthem...well...i mean...in a good way) but I do think John Williams can get kinda cheesy at times like someone said above.

One of the most powerfull scores ever.

However, out of the one's mentioned, I went with Gladiator. Hans Zimmer is the shit.
