Bad news about Carnahan possibly directing with his mtv style bullshit editing

i hope one of the following opts to direct instead. We all know what we want to see from an Escobar flick dammit!

Scorsese
Soderburgh if in Limey and Traffic mode
Ted Demmes ghost

He wants to bring Javier Bardem and Christian Bale along for the ride. That's brilliant casting!

Sure Smokin Aces was kinda subpar but Narc fuckin owned. I think this flick will be good, although I have never been a big fan of that Entourage guy.

I can't wait for KILLING PABLO.

I like Joe Carnahan. I'm happy with him making this, but I would also not mind if people like Peter Berg, Oliver Stone, Michael Mann or Tony Scott were directing.

Anyway I can get. I don't care.

Having this movie in the hands of someone like Oliver Stone would be pretty cool. Chronicling the life of the world's biggest drug czar would be an epic task for any director. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one though. Hopefully a trailer comes out soon. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

It's still in development, the studio hasn't even given this project the greenlight as of yet.

Hopefully Carnahan will do justice to the book he's adapting it off of by Mark Bowden same guy who wrote Black Hawk Down, now the book Killing Pablo is awesome and Latino Review did a script review of it awhile back and said it was alright, so we'll have to see how Carnahan approaches it.
