Which CRIME related film of the following is your favorite?

Im going Goodfellas but barely over the Departed actually which is exciting because im happy that a film that came out so recently compares to Goodfellas for me.

The Usual Suspects is a personal favorite due to the fact that it's the movie that got me into films in the first place. I didn't rank The Godfather cause I still haven't gotten around to seeing the second part and I need to rewatch the first part. I haven't seen Once Upon a Time in America yet so I left that out as well.

Great list of films. Had you not put L.A. Confidential on the list, I'd be hard pressed to choose one.

I have a thing about L.A. Confidential. I can't explain it, but I can watch it over and over again and never get tired of it. Godfather is the better movie, Goodfellas packs more of a punch, and I love Res Dogs, but, for me, L.A. Confidential just fascinating. Doesn't hurt that it's well directed, well written and well acted! Anyway, I'll probably be the only one voting for it coansidering the great films surrounding it, but I just wanted to champion L.A. Confidential. (It was robbed at the Oscars by Titantic)

From those, it's between L.A. and Departed. Both are well balanced ensemble pieces with an involving story and a badass climax.

Yes - Heat! Now that would have made it a tough choice between it and L.A. Confidential. I love Heat just as much, and more than the other movies listed. Good Call!
