I hadn't read any of the books or seen any of the movies until this past week - I was on vacation at the beach. I've read the first two now and I'm reading the third.

Deathly Hallows was such a satisfying end and also went out with a great bang. I'll have to go with that.

I'll always like the first book the most as it introduced me to the series and many memorable characters. JK Rowling's writing style is more suited for kids books, and after the third book, things went a little downhill. And I cannot really express my disappointment for how she ended the series in Deathly Hallows, I was let down, and everything past the 700th page felt really tacked on. It was good and entertaining throughout, but its all about the ending, and it wasn't that great. Number 1 and 3 are my favs.
