Awesome "Star Trek XI" Poster!

Hey everybody,

As of tonight, your favourite ElderPredator is back and better than ever. For my first update of the night, I bring you this absolutely fantastic poster that has just been released for the new "Star Trek XI" film which releases next December. It's such an ode to the original years of "Star Trek" and it gives me goosebumps as I am a Trekkie.

What do you all think?

Am I excited about another Star Trek? - No.
Will I go see it - Probably.


But really, why a prequel? Any character we give a shit about is going to live, duh....its a prequel. That means anyone who dies, etc. is going to be someone we really don't give a flying rats ass about.

I say bad idea.

It worked for Star Wars and James Bond, among others.

I'm not the biggest Star Trek fan, but there are some cool movies out there with Star Trek in the title . . . particularly Wrath of Kahn and A Voyage Home.

I don't know what to think about "restarting" the franchise with a prequel, but I'll keep an open mind.

I'm not really a Star Trek fan but man what a shitty poster that is. Is that for real? The only thing I ever saw was Nemesis and even though I didn't really know the characters I thought it was pretty good at the time. It never inspired me to see the other 9 movies or any of the television programs though. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Deep Space 9 has always been my favourite Star Trek series (especially with the last couple of seasons), it would have been The Next Generation but Wesley Crusher destoryed every episode he was in

Once the Klingon War and the Dominion War arcs started, I was hooked to every show. I started watching them when they came out on DVD, and I finished seasons 3-7 in about 2 weeks cause I coudn't wait to see what happened next.
