Johansson Won't Play Jenna Jameson


Scarlett Johansson has laughed off claims she will play porn star Jenna Jameson in a Hollywood biopic.

Jameson herself prompted reports at the Comic Con convention in San Diego, Calif., this month, when she said of the actress' performance in "Lost in Translation," "I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy. I was like, 'This girl could play me.'

"I love her. She's amazing. She's smart, she's funny. ... She's stunning.

"I don't want someone who's going to go in there and be like bouncing around. I want someone who can bring some depth."

But Johansson knows nothing of the film project -- based on Jameson's book "How To Make Love Like a Porn Star" -- which is to be titled "Heartbreaker."

Johansson's representative tells People.com, "Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project. She also has no interest in playing this role."

Good, she's a good and respectful actress and should'nt go too far like that. Meryl Streep told her that you don't have to get famous by being posing and acting nude. I guess she listened to her.

I like how she shows her underwear in many of her films, probably the only thing that will save The Nanny Diaries. Thats good enough for me.


Does JJ have that much of an interesting life to have a movie? Hell might as well cast a real pornstar for the part.

I've actually read JJ's bio "How To Make Love Like A Porn Star" and I believe she has had an interesting life *this is, of course, judging from what she has WRITTEN*, but a woman eventually taking control over a business that originally objectified women after spending so long on a roller coaster of self-consciousness, uncertainty and brutality is definitely worth SOME type of tribute.

Then again, we are only taking JJ's perspective in the book.
