Bourne Ultimatum Spoilers and perhaps Wolverine Spoilers...

Does anyone else thing that Jason Bourne is like the modern day real world Wolverine? Memory loss? Tortured past? A project that changed him into a killer which his new self hates only to find out he volunteered for? Lovers get killed? One tough son of a bitch? A mysterious government project he was once a part of now wanting to kill him?

Shit, they even both have Striker responsible for making them what they are ;)

Wolverine's got claws. And according to X2, Wolverine was an animal before his amnesia . . . Stryker just "gave him claws."

But other than that, I guess there are a few comparisons.

I was thinkinmg the same thing during this film. The flashbacks reminded me alot of X-2.

To be fair, most of the elements of Jason Bourne are present in the original novel, which dates to 1980 - and pre-dates most of the modern day revelations about Wolverine's past.
