This looks like such a funny movie. I think it will be a lot of fun and Cameron Diaz looks GREAT in the trailer. She's one of my favorite actresses. She's cute, funny, and great in these kinds of movies. I also like Christina Applegate.

I think THE SWEETEST THING will be a winner and I'll try to check it out in theaters.

What does everyone else think? If you've seen it what did you think of it? What would you give it for a grade?

it looks cute. more appealing than any of the Julia Roberts-starred movies around

This movie looks awesome. One of the more appealing romatic comedies, that will actually be funny. And the cast has promise, Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, Thomas Jane, Selma Blair and Parker Posey. The trailer is good, love the scene with the girls in their underwear and the passing motorcyclist thinks Diaz is pleasuring Applegate. I'm looking forward to this one, it'll be funny.

I told my g/f we could see any movie she wanted next time we went. We`ll see how this flick turns out.

Diaz and Applegate together should be a load of fun. I really like both of these talented actresses, plus the film looks to be hilarious.

I won't see this, unless my friend for some strange reason wants to. And did you guys see Diaz on SNL last night. Diyam she's fine.

This movie looks retarted. Cameron Diaz is starting to make me sick, every movie she does (with the acception of a few) she dances around like a slut, she hides the fact that she act with her big fake smile. I used to like her, but now she just seems fake, and this trashy movie won't help...

To me it looks like nothing more than mind pablum...

My biggest complaint from the ad is how the story line and Diaz's character is portrayed... It must be hard being super sexy yet not being able to find a significant other...

Sure, it might have its moments that will make me ha, ha, but I can't see it being more that two hours worth of distraction...

Although the three ladies in the movie are hot (and were on the cover or Rolling Stone last week), it looks pretty dumb so I don't want to see it. I'd rather see Changing Lanes or Frailty instead.

I tell ya, whenever I see a topic started by Mike, I know I'm gonna click on and get a nice ol' greeting from some high grade female. Two minutes ago, it was the best shot I've ever seen of sweet little Milla, and now, this little slab of top notch eye chow. Thanks again, Mike!

As you can see below my name, my girlfriend is officially a crapfest. I'll be spending all my time at the movies with friends, and blowing all rent money on whatfuckinever! I shall see this, and I shall enjoy it. This flick is guaranteed to get me through the weekend. Everytime I think of the anti-christ, I shall replace its face with Cameron's, and replace its body with Selma's. Life shall certainly go on!

haha Dr Martin,
you're welcome. Anyway, enjoy yourself at the movies, Cameron is the cure for anything, she will take your mind off any problems you might be having. She has one of the best smiles in Hollywood and is just so fun to watch. I know I'll see this movie and be happy, how do I know? Because of Cameron, I can't look at her without smiling. When she hosted SNL, a lot of the skits sucked (but I did find the MTV Spring Break one funny, probably my favorite out of them all), but regardless of the bad skits, whenever she was on the screen I smiled. There's just something about Cameron.

I never did get to see this movie. The reviews weren't too good and neither was the word of mouth but that doesn't bother me. I still think it would be really good and cute. It's practically impossible not to like a Cameron Diaz comedy, plus this one also has Christina Applegate.

Did any of you guys see it? Was it good?

It was good Mike!

Like Sorority Boys, The Sweetest Thing is just a stupid funny film with some really great gags and charming performances.

Christina Applegate steals the show!!!! She has great comic talent.

A very funny film but leave your brain at the door.

Well, if you liked it I'm sure I will, we seem to have similar taste. And I love stupid funny flicks. I'm sure I'd enjoy this. Plus like I already mentioned, it has Cameron and Christina, two beautiful and funny actresses. I even enjoyed Christina in Just Visiting, which was actually pretty good and not as bad as many were saying.

I saw it, and it wasn't as bad as critics were saying. I laughed like crazy in the theater.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Cameron Diaz, so I'm dying to see her in this one!

I saw the movie and it was pretty good. Sometimes it was hilarious, sometimes it was stupid. I TOTALLY agree with idealdiscountdude, Christina Applegate was pretty hilarious.

I love the scene right after the bathroom scene. They are sitting on the swings and Cameron Diaz was all upset about the glory hole thing and Christina flew across the room when the urinal broke, but Christina was laughing about the situation and I thought it was funny because I would be just like Christina. I would so be laughing about what just happened if it happened to me.
