So I'm heading back to school in two weeks and decided to order a bunch of cheap movies off of DeepDiscountDVD. My friends and I love watching cheap horror films and sex comedies on a dull night. Last year we watched Slumber Party Massacre, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl O Rama, and Chopping Mall. We're hoping to continue that tradition this year. So I was wondering what you guys thought of these movies.
The Initiation
Prom Night 3
Prom Night 4
Zombi 3
Zombi 4
Zombi 5
Mountaintop Motel Massacre
The Last Slumber Party
Terror at Tenkiller
and then the comedies I got:
Hot Dog the Movie
The Van
The Pom Pom Girls
Now keep in mind, bad is usually good for us with these movies. However, are any of these movies so unwatchable that they would bore us rather than humor us?

Avoid Prom Night 3 at all costs...insanely bad in the not enjoyable way.
Prom Night 4 on the other hand - total opposite for me...I always am trying to find it on DVD and randomly rented it back in the heyday of my horror craze. I saw it first when I was about 12-13 and loved it and I need to get rekindled with it. Really good, suprisingly solid slasher film and out the Prom Nights i've seen (2-4) its easily the best.

Zombi 3 and 4 are fun cheese. I actually prefer 4 because it feels like a horror film, whereas 3 feels like a doped-up episode of Magnum P.I. 5 is unforgivably sluggish. The bloodshed is sweet, but the kills are few and far between.

Holy shit. For a second there I thought my moniker was featured in a movie name.
I, on the other hand, am the exact opposite of XCoRyX. I thought Prom Night 3 was solid cheesy fun while Part 4 just sucked. Really has nothing good going for it. They should have stuck with Mary Lou Maloney.
Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I enjoyed Prom Night 3. It was kind of like a NOES film. It has some goofy death scenes in it. I didnt see 4 so I cant comment.

Just watched The Last Slumber party. This was unexcuseable trash. I can't believe just how poorly this film was made. A group of teenagers could do better with a camcorder, and I'm not exaggerating. No one could act, the sound was fucked, the picture was uneven, and things just didn't make sense. Like Slumber Party Massacre was a masterpiece compared to this.

I really disliked Zombi 3-5. Zombi 3 does feature a flying decapitated zombie head from a refrigerator for what it's worth.
Zombi 4 and 5 I couldn't even finish.
Mountaintop Motel Massacre is wretched...and not even in a so bad it's good way.
Prom Night 3 was enjoyable on a very stupid slasher scale.

Prom Night 4 was the one with the demon priest or something like that, right? If so, it sucked, but I had some fun with the Female Freddy Concept a.k.a. Mary Lou from parts 2 and 3...:D

I don't remember The Initiation, but I am not having bad vibes.
Last Slumber party and Mountaintop Hotel Massacre was boring, something in the floor on that one. Damn save your cash on these.
Oh and Hot Dog The Movie sucks and I would rather watch Hamburger The Movie instead. Now, that is entertainment! :D

For the record, most of these DVDs were very inexpensive and I wouldn't have purchased them otherwise. Hopefully some of them will turn out to be some good cheese for my friends and me at school

That is cool and I hope you get a kick out of them. I am not a stranger of blind buys or sitting through junk at all. I do it often :D .

Can't say that I've seen any of these except for maybe the Last Slumber Party.
