I just blind bought a film called Cocaine Cowboys. If you haven't heard about it here is the imdb link: http://imdb.com/title/tt0380268/

The film is about the cocaine trade in the 70's/80's and everything that came with the drugs. Great documentary.

I'm looking for more great documentary's to get, but the only ones that I really know of are Micheal Moore, and all his movies. Anyone know of any?

-Cheers

Grizzly Man

You deserve a star for that recommendation.

It isn't airing on T.V. anymore, so I have to wait for it to come out on DVD to rent it, which sucks. Can't find it online either. Oh well, I can wait. It looks interesting as hell! I love these kinds of documentaries (cocaine cowboys, street thief)

Super Size Me is a great documentary. It is interesting, though no one eats as much fast food as he did for the movie, it is amazing how bad it is for you.

I haven't seen the whole thing but my dad was watching one last night called The Bridge about people who have jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge to kill themselves (actual footage of jumps, though most I saw cut away before impact.) It was really depressing but it was a good documentary.

I thought Manufacturing Dissent and Farenhype 9/11 were pretty good. Shows you my opinion of Michael Moore.

I also agree with the recommendation of This Film Is Not Yet Rated, which should be required watching for all movie fans. Jesus Camp and Deliver Us From Evil were also scary as hell when you think about it as well.

Well actually a teacher somewhere actually disproved the theory. He followed all the same rules as the guy in the documentary did, except for one...He went to the gym for an hour a day, and actually ended up losing 4 pounds or so.
