What are some of your guys DVD's that you can not believe you don't have. They are out, but for some reason it is a favorite movie of yours that you do not have. Here are some of mine.

Forrest Gump
The Matrix Trilogy
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Space Jam

A CHRISTMAS STORY

While there are still about thousand films I still want and pretty badly as well, even moreso than A Christmas Story, its one of the few films that I look at my collection, and go "I don't have that??" This is considering I own 2100+ films and own most of the "essentials".

Some other films I'd throw in that list for myself are:
CURE (1997; Kiyoshi Kurosawa)
Wilder's THE APARTMENT
Wilder's LOST WEEKEND
Lang's THE BIG HEAT
Lang's YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE
SHANE

also finishing off the rest of my Woody Allen and Hitchcock (what is available) collections

High Fidelity and Almost Famous...both are in my top ten faves and I don't have them....Almost Famous is because I havn't been able to talk myself into the 40 dollar price tag of the Bootleg director's cut...but there's no excuse for th 5-9 dollar High Fidelity...

You Sir, have got two good films in that Top 10 of Yours - I know what you mean though about the high price for the Almost Famous bootleg copy - but it's worth it.

As for flicks that I can't believe i don't own, I was quite suprised to note yesterday that I don't have all the American Pie flicks - not that that's always a bad thing, but there you go.

Flicks that I really, really wanna add into the collection soon, however, are the Criterions for Silence of the Lambs, Slacker and Dazed and Confused, as well as one of my fav tv shows back when I was a youngling - Eerie Indiana.

It looks like Space Jam is the only film, aside from the ones I myself mentioned, I don't own mentioned in this thread.

And I love Space Jam too

Very nice list there. I own all except for Duck Soup which is OOP. I'm hoping for a re-release soon, there have also been rumors that it MAY be a future Criterion release, but it most likely is nothing more than a rumor, but would be great.

Space Jam is just one of those films that brings me back to my childhood. I still love the movie to this day. Partly to the fact that I am a huge NBA fan.

There are a few, most notably...

Night Of The Living Dead
Dawn Of The Dead (78)
Day Of The Dead

I'm ashamed of that... but I'm really ashamed I don't own...
