I've been told that The Running Man is currently out of print. Is there a 20th Anniv. S.E. coming this year? If not, when will it be back in print?
P.S.
Christian, please empty your PM mailboxes.

Since the 'Special Edition' DVD is about 3 1/2 years old, and the second DVD for this film, I doubt another version will be available.
I believe it's discontinued in Canada as the rights for "Artisan" titles have gone from Alliance Atlantis to Maple Pictures (aka Lionsgate in Canada).
I've asked for some information Martin.

Should have PM'd me mutesaint - we could have worked out a deal so you'd get one. Did you want me to check Future Shop? (maybe they have a couple left).

That was a while back before I was really comfy with these boards. I assure you if futureshops has something that sexy again you might be getting something from me. Alas its not worth it now as I have grown to like the edition that I have.

I asked at my store of choice and was told to get it from the States is doubtful. I'll ask again though.

Seems Maple (aka Lionsgate here in Canada) do not presently have rights to The Running Man. So either hunt down a copy (I'm sure a store SOMEWHERE has one), shop online (someone who has a credit card) or wait for a re-release here in Canada.

Luckily I re-rented this from Netflix to see if it held up before buying it - phew! Saved some dough - doesnt hold up for me AT ALL.

If there was a schmoe you trusted in America(I promise this isnt me beggin to be that person) you could work out some deal through pm. It is radically easy to get here.
