Umm, no, not all comedians do it. The reason why you like Mencia is because you're a fuckin idiot. Dumb people like dumb things, its been proven throughout history. And don't validate your dumb opinions by using the fail-proof "but whose to say what's dumb and what isn't LOL"

I do believe that occasionally similar jokes are created by comedians on accident (which I firmly believe is what happened with Dane Cook, the set ups and designs of the jokes he supposedly "stole" are completely different, as are punchlines.), however Mencia literally steals the jokes word for and hardly has any original jokes of himself.

Not to mention he's been using the same exact jokes over and over again since his career began. I approve of this rant.

Plagarism can kill great careers. Denis Leary learned this the hard way. His original material was great. Hell, really really great. He never copied Bill Hicks word-for-word, but he took a lot of his concepts and pretty much told them the exact same way with a slightly tweaked punchline. They were funny, too, but they weren't his ideas. Despite his fame and success, his career will be haunted by that.


But Leary was smart, because at least he stole from comedians that were funny. Stealing humor from George Lopez is like trying to shoplift a nice suit from Goodwill.

EXACTLY!! I mean, when the fucking host of Fear Factor is a more talented comedian than you are, that says something.

It amazes me how many fans this dude has. He came to Raleigh to a sold-out crowd. If you actually venture beyond this board, you will find people who actually think he's funny. Seriously. Only in a country that has voted Bush twice into office, a education system WAY behind that of China, Japan, and France's, and a shitty healthcare system, will you find someone like Mencia actually being famous.
