This is about TV shows that are cancelled I hate that if a show has seven or eight episodes left and its got bad ratings its cancelled. There have been plenty of show that I've started that have gotten cancelled after like ten episodes I'll give two
Reunion a show that came on in 2005 about six friends who were friend in 1986 but 19 years later one gets murdered at the high school reunion. I was so into this show it was great the Premise was awesome and the show itself was great and it got cancelled and it really pissed me off because they never revealed who the killer was. I mean the least they could've done is filmed the last episodes and released it on DVD.another is
The Nine. I started this show and loved it with them out of the bank and them in the Bank it was great but Abc had to go and cancel it because it got low rating and I know everything is based off of ratings, but it had low rating not no ratings that means people were watching it thats like telling everyone who watched these shows, FUCK YOU viewer
these people don't watch so you can't watch it, Either all of you watch it or none of you watch it.
That really pisses me off they could try the show in a different time slot. There are people who watched every episode of these shows to have them cancelled. There are plenty of oher show that are cancelled in mid season or in second season and mean while stupid shows like the Flavor of Love and are you smarter than a fifth grader still on that just pisses me off.

I don't know anything about "Reunion," but I have heard of cancelled shows having the entire season being released on DVD. I do agree that if the show is cancelled, it might be in the best interest to finish of the storyline and release everything on DVD. Still might make some money off of it.

I love this rant and could not agree more.
Not just Reunion and The Nine but Drive, The Lyon's Den, Vanished, Traveler and I'm probably forgetting about a dozen other shows.
Bravo to ABC for actually showing Daybreak's small audience some respect by actually finishing up the story and airing it on the internet. Now if you can do me a favor and release it on dvd already. I wish the other networks would do the same.
Another thing that annoys me is when a show is canceled and left you hanging with a cliffhanger. The most notorious examples I can think of this is Nowhere Man and Fastlane.
And one other thing that annoys me, and FOX is particularly guilty of this, is renewing a show for a second season and not even giving it a fair chance to succeed. NBC did this once with Boomtown and FOX has done it TWICE with Tru Calling and The Loop. Why bother renewing it in the first place if you weren't going to give the second season a fair shot?!?! Bastards!

Another pissed off Reunion fan. Awesome show, and I was enjoying it so much. I also said in another thread that every show that premiered with Reunion (whether currently running or not) got put on DVD except Reunion.

Amen. I missed this on tv, but torrented an HD version and love it. I would completely buy this miniseries on dvd if it were released just so my wife could enjoy it as well.

Loving the rant, and with that said, does anyone know where I can get the last two episodes of "Drive"?

We're on an illegal, exclusive, cross-country road race.

I wasn't aware there were any fans of that Reunion show. Everyone I've talked to about it (more mentioned really as a wow that show looks bad) have said that it sucks.

If I remember correctly, I started the Reunion thread when that show was going, but eventually turned my back on it thinking it wouldn't persist.... Don't exactly remember.
I don't think you know what you're asking Pablo, or haven't thought it through. TV shows aren't cheap to film. If a show isn't pulling ratings, or isn't getting a substantial fanbase, it would be a big waste of money to film it just for closure.
I know, I know.... I want to see what happened to the Freaks and Geeks; did Shasta McNasty ever get a real gig, and more questions, but I'm just being a stone cold realist here and playing devil's advocate. Sorry to be a bummer. :D
