View Full Version : Netflix - Do You "8 At a Time"?

I just thought I'd brag a little and tell everyone that I get the largest package through Netflix, the 8 At a Time... Yes, that's right. And in August alone I rented 71 discs. I have both no life and no desire to have one. To be honest more than half of what I rented were TV seasons which take up multiple discs so...

Anyway...

What Netflix or Blockbuster subscription do you have and do you use its full potential?

When I had 8 at a time, I'd rip 4 and mail it the next day, then those other four would just arrive, I'd rip those 4, mail them... it was a rotation.

But now I'm unemployed and I'm at 3 at a time, which is still kinda too much with no new paychecks coming your way.

Since you said it I'll admit that, too. It's the only reason eight at a time is worth anything is so I can copy them all and just ship them back. I've got a sweet rotation going. More movies coming in than I can watch. Works good.

I've got your standard 3 going right now. Between reviewing DVDs, movies on television, and theatrical releases, I can barely even find the time for those 3. Sometimes I go almost a month without watching one from Netflix. Life ain't easy for a movie buff.

I used to get 1 at a time (sad, I know), and it would sit there for days and even weeks. And then I realized, that I had about 150+ blind buys in my collection, and I should be watching those, instead of having new ones come in. So, I cancelled, and now I watch what's in my collection.
