I'm pretty sure that when a movie ISN'T released on it's release date, and then the DVD is announced, then that means it's not going to get a theatrical release, eh?

If a company could've dumped a film from two years into theaters for one weekend (Mouth to Mouth), why couldn't the same have been done for this? Too disturbing?

While the story IS disturbing, the film wasn't gratuitous (spelled that right?). I wasn't expecting it to go STV. I was expecting them to market it as a horror movie at worst, but not go STV.
