Need help with remembering a movie name

I'm trying to remember an old horror movie's name. Here's what I remember about the movie, hope one of you can help me with the title.

Movie was about these guys going to this wild west amusement park with cowboys who were really robots, that short circuit and really start killing people. The main cowboy wore black and was bald. That's all I can remember. Please help if you can. Thanks.

CRONOS you are a fountain of general movie knowledge, how the fuck did you get that?!! I've never even heard of this film, is it any good and is it available on dvd? :confused:

Hehehe, I knew what it was just from "wild west amusement park", mention of one being black clothed and bald just confirmed it.

It is a pretty good film if memory serves, all the scenes with Brynner were cool and it was fun watching the robots go apeshit and start killing the park guests :p. It's also got a sequel called Futureworld which isn't that bad, Brynner is in that too.

It's out on Region 1 DVD, not available in the UK though.

Dude those movies sound awesome, how have I not heard of them?!! It blatantly sounds like CHOPPING MALL ripped off the idea, and put the robots in a mall rather than an amusement park! I'm gonna search for this bad boy! A REMAKE too?!!! That must be the first remake that has been announced where I hadn't already seen and knew of the original! :confused:
