What's the best DVD player out there (which one can read the most types of discs, file formats, is region-free, provides best picture/sound quality, etc...)? Name brands don't matter to me...
Any help would be welcome, thank you.

I like Toshiba. Always bought them and never had a problem. DVD players are so cheap lately you can't really go wrong. Just avoid those piece of shit $30 players at Walmart. Remember you get what you pay for :)

Haha, I'm definitely not going to grab a real cheap one, that's for sure. So Toshiba, any certain model that's really good?
I'll definitely be doing a little research on Toshiba DVD players, and I appreciate the help, thank you.

Not sure if they produce the model I have - it's a few years old. I also have an LG model that was one of the first players to upconvert the signal to 1080i. Don't use it anymore since I have my HD DVD player...
