Someone said it's coming this Nov. from Dragon Dynasty. Can anyone offer concrete proof of that? I've checked DD's website and they make no mention that it's coming at all, let alone this Nov.!

I heard it was coming from Dragon Dynasty as well (aka The Weinstein Company) but I haven't heard of a date yet.

Awesome! I desperately want to see this movie. I waited long enough for Hard Boiled.

It's not bad, but nowhere near as good as Hard Boiled. Get ready for some of the worst dialogue ever.
It was available from that cheap DVD company... can't remember the name, but I have it. Same for Hard Boiled. It said "From the Director if Mission Impossible 2" on the cover. Surely it can be found on the cheap.

I found it once, but the transfer was horrible. Not just bad, but flat out fucking horrible. Hard to tell the characters apart because everthings so blurred/damaged horrible. I obviously am just hoping they put a great transfer out so I know what the hell is going on.

I have that one I got it from best buy about 4 or five years ago. I think the company name is winstar.

I've been told that DD is very last minute when it comes to announcing what's to be released by themselves.

Maybe it's being bumped to 2009 - to celebrate it's 20th Anniversary?

I already have the Hong Kong Legends disc of The Killer but since this is one of my alltime favourite films i might just have to get this release.

No, as 2009 IS the 20th Anniversary :)
Please elaborate.
Hmmm, you start a thread on last Wednesday asking and DavisDVD announces the DVD details on Saturday. Hence the irony :D Your wish came true.
Can you give me some Super 7 numbers for Friday please?

ok, I just thought that with my multiple threads concerning 20th Anniversary editions that you were joking in some way.
Now I see the irony. Good point.

I haven't seen the numbers but I'm sure "Hard Boiled" was one of DD's bestselling titles with "The Killer" also likely to sell like crazy. Hopefully this will get DD to release some more titles like "City on Fire" instead of imports with Michael Biehn in it...

City on Fire would be nice. I've read that the version/edition that's currently avail. in R1 SUCKS!!
I can't wait for it to come out!
